That comment aside, I just bought a RS 15-1994 today for $29.95 in Greenville PA. The enthusiasm within the first third of this thread would seem to reinforce my decision, eh??

One thing has me stumped -- (programming for my Zenith 27" TV, JVC HR-S3500U SVHS VCR, and Hughes Electronics DirecTV system was easy out of the box) I did a keyword search of this thread looking for "volume" to no avail, so here goes: How do I get the remote to be at SAT or VCR use, and yet still use the volume (which obviously can't drive anything on those devices!!...) and MUTE button (which is too small on the 15-1994)...

I lost the Hughes remote (reason for replacing it) but that one, my JVC remote, and my Zenith remote can all keep on adjusting volume after choosing a different device for other buttons!! What am I missing here??
