I don't think that Two Way TV's solution is going to do what we need, so we must keep trying to find another solution. I am trying to find out if there are any IR gadgets about that can read in a conventional IR code, convert it to an IRDA code and transmit it. There are loads of gadgets about for using standard remotes to control PC's which use IRDA. What we need is not a million miles away from that.

I am still determined to keep trying to find a solution, but it's starting to wear me down.
