Since the HTM Rf remotes communicate directly with all RF extenders on the market, the only one it won't talk to is another MRF-200 set to a different unit code. Meaning you'll need to replace the mx-700 with another mx-800.:( Or you can go cheap, replace the mx-700 with a UEI RF remote, like the HT-PRO or a OFA urc-9910, the mx-800 won't communicate with their basestation.
