I hope this helps. I bought the same remote at a yard sale and never had the manual, yet this seem to work. 1. Shut off unit your trying to use the remote on. 2.Hit code search on the top left. 3. Hit the button you with to correspond with the unit, for example TV, or VCR ect. Point the remote at the unit and slowly hit the on/off button until unit turns on. If you go to fast you'll pass it up and it won't work. Once your TV turns on then hit the enter button all the way to the left three rows up from the bottom. This should work.
