Nice to meet you... Listen, I have a similar
problem. I currenty purchased a Haier TV, 20" TN201AUV,
from a pawn shop but it did not include the remote control.
They provided me with an RCA Universal control, but that
did not work.

I've found a Comcast M1057, which worked beautifully
but the small problem is that the MENU Feature is preset
to the factory setting for the CABLE Box and I cannot
removed the rating settings that the TV currently has.

I inherited a Haier TN201AUV (20") without the remote. Very little info on the web and I had a hard time finding a universal that would work for a Haier without paying $30 for an exact replacement from the web sharks. I found the GE 3 in 1 Model #RM24912 at Walmart for about $7 that works perfectly. The booklet lists 5 codes for Haier, and code 0217 works all the functions on my tv, including mute, channel return, and even the menu for color adjustment, sleep timer etc. I'm very pleased with it.
