Dynex is actually made by LG, so check out the codes for

I have a Dynex 32" and the lg codes don't work, with the synergy v offered with most digital cable boxes in my area. on off volume up, but no volume down. The code that works perfectly is 169, which is for Emerson tvs not LG. It was a lucky autoscan, and i did a code read back, I hope this is helpful
