I have a VIORE PLASMA TV which in reding the forums is mfg'd by either Aiwa or Akai, I can't remember. The remote suppied with the HD Cable Box is a Synergy V model numberTR-U62CP-1-14. Does anyone have the proper code for this tv for this remote. I have tried Time Warner but they were about as much help as asking a retarded 2 year old. Help, Help, Please!

Anyone have any add'l info on programming this? Possibly a way to manually enter code fro each type of device.

I'm trying to get this remote to control my Panasonic sa-xr55 receiver. Nothing fancy, just turn it on/off and control the volume. If I let it scan for codes it sets the receiver up as a dvd player and thus will not let me control the volume.

If not what about a remote with similar features that will? Again nothing fancy as this is the family TV and needs to endure little hands but still control the SA cable/dvr box

I have a 32" Insignia TV and just got the Time Warner DVR with the Synergy V remote. I tried to use the code listed for Insignias which is 150 but it did not work with my TV. If someone could shed some light on a code that will turn my TV on and OFF with this remote I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Nope, insignia tv codes fall into 4 camps, #1- Admiral/Emerson code, in UEI made remotes is code 0463. #2- Mitsubishi= UEI code 0150. #3- Philips tvcodes=UEI remote code 0054. The forth camp is so far unknown to UEI remotes, Tivo remotes and URC made remotes.

Althrough I just received today the urc-4220, its the first UEI remote with a code listed for insignia tvs, code in it is TV 1204. It doesn't match any of the UEI codes above. So maybe they finally cracked the 4th camp. Don't look for code 1204 in any other UEI made remote just yet. Remotes like the One-for-all urc-8910 (UEI made remote) can have this code loaded over the phone.

I am just telling you what worked for me. All the codes you listed were four digits...this box and remote only require a three digit code, with the emerson one working for my TV (code 169).
