he Sony sucks!! The SL-9000 is a much better unit for the money. Brian, the Sony does a lousy job of controlling the 850. The SL-9000 will do it much better. I know, I have the 850.

The Sony appears to be "sexy" with its LCD screen. But it's another case of form over function. What's the use of having an LCD readout if it's not customizable and the non-customizable buttons are inadequate for your needs, and don't match the needed labels, anyway.

The display on the Sony sucks. The functionality of the Sony sucks. The size of the Sony sucks. Do yourself a favor. If you're in the $100 price range, buy the Home Theater SL-9000. If you want to spend more money than that, buy the Pronto.
