I have started to hate my pre-amp. Do any of the Sony universal remotes control the TA-E9000ES? The remote that comes with it plows through batteries (both the double A's and the watch style battery inside). That's not the worst problem, when the batteries go, you lose all the settings for your other devices (TV, DVD, VHS) and, it doesn't control my cable box. I'd like a universal that kept all my settings and only requires me to switch the AA batteries.

I checked Sony's website but couldn't figure out if the remotes can control the TA-E9000ES. I'd like to stay under $75 if possible and would love it to have pre-programmed codes.

I feel like I'm asking for too much but I'm about to sell the pre-amp and get a Denon or HK receiver to make life simpler.
