The only way your av3100 will work with X10 is with the use of the IR543. You're currently using a x10 remote to control a RF transceiver via RF signals from the x10 remote. The similar looking white console you bought from RS, doesn't accept IR signals, like the IR543 does. Once you get the IR543, code 2005 on the av3100 will work, if you need a commands, that x10 remote can probably be switched from RF to IR.
