It is a limitation if "Macros" cannot be used in other places like "Device Templates".

It is a limitation if a "Page" you wish to perform one or two tasks that requires a macro (and a dozen single IR code buttons) is limited to 5 buttons.

It does not make any sense to me to segragate macros (expect for programming purposes). It does make sense to segragate "activities" (which might not encompass ALL macros).

It may simply be a poor choice of naming conventions as I tried to elaborate in a couple replies back. See also Clay's new thread which is right on the mark in my opinion.

A remote is much less attractive to me if I have to surf it during a movie for common tasks (some of which might require a macro).

And for clarity we are talking about *CURRENT* implemenation of Pronto and things may completely change once the PC software is released. Although Clay's response from Phillips was not very encouraging.
