You need to order the Ethernet adapter when you order the dish. It comes with a USB adapter to connect the Starlink router to your router. The Starlink router only has a power and USB connector, no Ethernet RJ45 built in. You need to keep the Starlink router in place to power and align the dish, not just for setup but it is always aiming the dish during use. You can put the Starlink router into bridge mode but that does nothing but shut off the Starlink WiFi. Starlink uses CGNAT so even using bridge mode you cannot use DDNS, VPNs, or P2P for remote connections.

I have several customers who say it has been a game-changer. It works exactly as advertised and they love it.

Just a heads up for the installation, you can only use their 75' or 150' cable and you cannot splice it or connect the cables to each other. Their cable is a proprietary USB cable that clicks into their dish and modem, you cannot use your own CAT or coax cables with adapters.
