We probably install an equal amount of Roku and Apple TV units.
We definitely see more Roku problems including:
Thermal warning
HDMP error
The old lock-up
Can I ask which Roku units you are having problems with?
Because the thermal warnings & locking up were almost exclusive with the sticks. And I have NEVER recommend someone using a stick (no matter what service it is). Just a terrible idea IMO.
I have always used the Ultra's and the Express. Rarely ever have any problems. And not near as many problems as Apple has given.
