Thanks for the replies. I did see some new old stock 9800's on ebay and I thought about getting one but I was concerned about the size of it.

I picked up a 9600 off of facebook marketplace cheap, and he didn't respond for a few days, so I ended up grabbing another 9600 from ebay. Then the guy from facebook responded so I have 2 of them coming.

I really just plan to use it for IR in place of my tsu7000, just nice to have a little upgrade.

I relegated control of my lights over to google home which kind of sucks, but works pretty easily.

I did kind of wonder if there was any way to have the pronto trigger events in IFTTT. If that were the case it would work quite well to bridge the gap between google home and the pronto.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions after I mess with it for a bit.
