i have uninstalled and reinstalled the ccp software but it does not open my latest ccp file. So i simply opened the ccp software and uploaded from the remote. It seems to work fine. Per above suggestion, i replaced the url.uni file with a null file and it no longer asks for live update. I don't mind that this will have very old database. I would rather simply teach any new remotes than update.
Unfortunately, I have spent countless hours, fine tuning my remote. In fact, I use it in two separate rooms and I bought two extra as a back up. I have the mx 780. There are not many other options and I dont want to learn new software.
I hope complaints to FCC will work and the URC is reprimanded!
