Almost everything I buy in this realm comes from China/Ali Express. Most US based companies do the same, slap a name on it and charge 4x the price. Unacceptable.
A few years ago we did a couple of huge systems, using the Florida lighting guy that our architect suggested. He also bought everything from China, and said that he'd placed maybe fifty orders for lights and had only gotten boned (happy acceptance of money, no shipment of goods) once. If Ali Express is that good or better, then GREAT!
It was a difficult thing to ensure that he was always going to get the same level of product, though.
