Ive got a project with an existing Samsung TV which is a few years old, and does not have a 12v output.

I want to house the TV in a TV lift, that has a 12v trigger to open / close.

We will not be using a control system, but will have a IR repeater.

I want the TV lift to open when the TV is turned on, and the TV lift to close when the TV is turned off.

Is there such a device that can sit inline on the TV power cable and sense the TV drawing power when the TV is on, and in turn trigger a 12v output relay, which i can in turn wire into the TV lift ?

Essentially a power sensing device with a 12v output ?

If anyone has any other suggestions on how to control the TV lift, it would be much appreciated.
