How much did your parents charge for your rent, how many kids did you support, how did you pay for health care?
A lot of the problem is that people want things and have replaced the word 'want' with 'need'. "I need a new big screen TV"- ever drive past a housing project? You'll see plenty of big screen TVs through the blinds or drapes. Good thing they're so freaking cheap, but they don't put a morsel of food on the kids' plates.
Look at the price of cars, trucks and SUVs, too- it's impotent to look impotent.
I’m not sure I get you.
