I guess I’m still stuck on her having her own network with a pseudo router and her and own lan, sub net, ip addresses etc. maybe that’s too old school. But to be able to airplay her iPhone or mirror her chromebook to a Roku type device, wouldn’t they both need to be on the same lan? And wouldn’t connecting to a public network (Starbucks; hospital provided WiFi etc) expose her to potential security breaches?
If she had her own ATT hotspot, it would be the firewall and router right?
There is no 5g up here behind the redwood curtain. Not due until 2021 or 2022
Casey it looks like that Wineguard ConnecT can be a hotspot if you add a SIM ?
