Maybe people do the numbers and find out it makes financial sense for them to buy a Tesla?
Do those numbers reflect the purchase price, registration and insurance?
The base accord is almost $11,000 less than the base Tesla.
So Tesla is $65,000 after 5 years including the car
Accord is $55,000 after 5 years including the car
Take into account most states registration and insurance go up with the value of the vehicle. In AZ 10K less of car could save you $150.00 on registration.
So if you do the numbers it would make more financial sense to get the Honda.
Also the Honda can be serviced any where, be fueled anywhere, go for 300,000 miles and not to mention when the batteries need replaced in that Tesla it'll set you back upwards of $16,000.
