Do we have a list of brands that don't use discrete IR codes? I know some, like Samsung, have remotes that need to be paired to the TV because they use BT, but they still use IR. I sold a Sharp TV a few years ago and the lack of discretes is biting me on the ass as I type, so I don't want to repeat this experience.
Looking to get an LG or Samsung for a customer- what are the preferred brands, these days?
BTW- is XBox still the preferred gaming console?
