They said to set LAN DNS to the same 8.8.8.8 & 1.1.1.1
My house and all my client locations are with Cox Communications for the ISP just like the original poster. Not sure if the problem is ISP dependent???
My desktop at home seems to resolve and display web pages slightly faster compared to the previous ISP provided DNS servers.
