This is not a personal shot, but a post like this is not at all helpful.
Sony makes at least 4 models of 65" TV with "XBR" in the model number, the best of which costs almost 3 x what the most basic one costs. Samsung and LG also make numerous different qualities of TV. Making a claim that "Sony is better than Samsung and LG" is meaningless without specifying exactly what models were being compared. A top-end Samsung QLED or LG OLED is going to be better than anything Sony makes short of the OLED stuff.
That’s a fair point. While i don’t feel like looking up each model number right now they are all 4 k led.
The Sony is a middle of the road mode and cost around $1500 a year and a half ago. The Samsung and lg cost around $2500 each dealer.
I’ve also done everything i can to improve the picture on both the Samsung and lg.
Btw the Samsung is by far the worst in this particular group. It looks best when it’s turned off.
