OK, what about people with Cisco, Scientific Atlanta and other cable boxes that have been in place for years? Their remote codes are the same as what is used by the 210 (or 101, 201 and 110)- why would they want to deal with changing that?

You haven't accumulated any remotes over the decades when changing from one provider to another (yourself or a client) and finding more remotes than needed?
