That tells me that you don't have the codes, but you know where to get them. I don't know anyone with Time Warner, as it happens, so this is a nice theoretical approach but ultimately not helpful.

Yes, I've known that for a while.
That means someone else paired it, although it could be that the box and everything else was returned after pairing- this stuff is usually refurbed or returned, according to people at Spectrum. They check it by resetting and if it lights up the next time it's plugged in, they send it out to their customers.
