Obviously that's a bunch of market share in one swoop! However it may be a case of too much of the same thing. Onkyo/Pioneer/Integra are pretty much the same thing with different skins on top. Marantz and Denon... same thing.
Will they all get HEOS / the same remote / the same GUI in the future? Well, probably. Will people still be loyal sheep and follow their brand name? Yes. Probably... Will SNAP AV buy Sound United? Well...
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers. #makesonosgreatagain
