motorized would be better especially for a TV. But all I meant is I can understand why someone might think it is a good idea, but IMHO it falls in the category of "more interesting on paper then in real life."
As an idea it is not a bad one to have a screen that is has the right AR which is why , I am sure like others here, which is why we set up some HTs with variable AR projector set-up. But IMHO it is different to take a couple of minutes for the curtains to get to the right place for a film where you will be sitting watching it for 2h and your vacation pics or a 5 minute youtube video.
