I've seen more then my fair share of crappily programmed remotes in the field. Those are usually the customer I earn for life after I reprogram. It's like a whole new system to the client. The main reason to upgrade to a level above the 780 is more advanced variables and stuff. Otherwise, the 780 is great for a small system. It can definitely handle the system the OP has. Whether it was program properly is a question yet to be answered. It sounds like he's just upset that the company wants to charge for their time to come out to reprogram. People have to stop figuring that all charges are for time on site. It's expensive to run a business and a small thing that takes 10 minutes still requires a truck roll. We have an hour minimum because of that.
