I’m still curious how this proposed conglomeration of C4 and RTI would work. You can’t control C4 “devices” with RTI. So you’d have two control systems in place?
That’s going to be a great user experience /s
Once upon a time, I made the mistake of taking a job with a shop that designed systems exactly this way. At the time, Control4 controller could accept IR, and programming could be created around the received IR commands. RTI remotes and touch screens were used as the main interface, and a C4 HC300 with C4 amps were powering the audio, via the RTI remotes and screens. The programming was an absolute nightmare. Needless to say, I didn't stay at that shop very long, and ultimately ended up replacing a couple of their systems. It was the best example I've ever seen of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
