I have started using the Ridgid system from Home Depot and I really like the size and the fact that they connect together.

They also make a small parts box that I am just starting to put together.  They are big enough to allow you to have a bin for power cords, one for HDMI cords, one for wall plate stuff and then you can easily stack and secure them.  They are reasonably priced and easy to get.
