We've used a 15" cheap lcd tv built into an aluminum briefcase. It takes rf, component, composite, hdmi, and vga. It has served us well for over 10 years. But we are finding a need to a 4K test monitor solution as well.
Might need to take a two pronged approach here. i.e. a simple tv for legacy connections, and something like the 4K dongle for higher resolutions.
