Yep. But after thinking about it for a while, I remember my house is 600sq ft bigger than the average American home. I spend all my time during the day in homes that are at least triple the size of my house. So there must also be a lot of people that have some really shitty houses.
I get more depressed thinking how much less stress and misery and more money had I gone into ANY other trade besides this one.
But that being said, I am thankful for what I have. Some savings, a nice car, a "soon" to be nice house and a dog. I see my friends from Highschool drowning in debt, can barely afford to put tires on a car, etc. and think there are way worse off people then me.
IF i had all the money in the world, I honestly don't think my wife and I would want any bigger house then we have. She would want a barn. I want a garage (hanger) with herringbone brick floors, chandeliers and lighting highlighting my exotic and classic car collection. And then next door would be an epic wood shop.
Ohh, and a few hundred acres of land between us and the next people.
