It really is a superior tool once you learn how to use it.

You will want to see the Export Pane.

Note that the files are put into your temp folder (IIRC) in Windows which may take a bit of searching to find.

I used it to reverse-engineer Bryston IR Protocol to find codes for various equipment. For example, I knew the standard function number for power off so I simply used IRScrutinzer to generate a CCF/PCF with all 256 possible device IDs (usually you know the device ID and then generate 256 functions).

Once I found the button (with specific Device ID) that turned off my BDA-2 DAC, I then I went back and regenerated a CCF/PCF with functions 0-255 for the Device ID I had located.
