I've tried to reload the firmware to no avail.
The firmware program doesn't recognise the remote I'd plugged in so I pressed the Troubleshoot button. I followed the instructions on the screen and entered the emergency upgrade mode by pressing Firmkey 2 3 and 4. Unfortunately the Repair button was greyed out and would not allow me to repair the firmware.
It seems the issue is that the remote is point blank refusing to communicate with any PC at all.
