I worked with someone who refused to learn anything about something if he saw no value (not monetary value) in it. He walked into an AV distributor's open house and as another RC member & I were discussing what we had been working on, the guy asked what we were talking about. I told him we were discussing IT and he scoffed, asking "Yeah, but how many jobs do you need to do that? and after I paused, said "All of them". This was in 2008.

He's a lot like a June bug that finds itself in a corner and can't get out.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
