I understand and I agree - to a point. As long as we are able to maintain access to product lines which have a hefty markup, are not sold online (eBay or Amazon), are only available to verified dealers, and have limited territories for dealers, then money can still be made on product - good money. Things like high-end lighting controls, shades, speakers and AV processors are a few examples of product lines on which you can do this.
But:
1. You still have to be compensated for all of the services you provide.
2. Let's face it, not everyone on this forum can get access to these distribution channels because of minimum opening orders, annual sales quotas or over-saturated locations.
