While the Crestron Director is not needed for just a half dozen pieces, You would be surprised on the price of the NVX line. Support and configuration, built in HDMI switch, plus more. I find it hard to beat. CAT7a is not a requirement for operation, crestron prefers it. But it works just fine with Cat6.
