I'm in the suburbs. A couple weeks ago we had a small snow, perhaps an inch here 'n there. I passed three slip and slide cars waiting for a tow -- during a 15 minute drive.

Years ago I was driving on an Interstate during a very bad storm in a car that handled poorly on slick roads. I was crawling along at a reasonably safe (no one should have been out, but I had to get home) speed. Suddenly a high end 4-wheel drive blasted by me in the passing lane. A couple miles ahead I crawled by the 4-wheeler that was now way off the road in a field.
