I have the Nest doorbell. I like it much better than the Ring doorbells...Main difference is that the Nest MUST be hardwired and it's $5 per month.
I like the style of it much better than Ring (for outside).And since I have a Nest thermostat, it's one app.
Other than that, they're essentially the same thing.
I'm partial to Apple which makes me partial to Nest. (although Google actually owns them now).
