I have never had the issue with either system using Android... but I have with Apple. I have also struck the same issue playing music off the phone with Sonos...
So yeah, there's something up with iOS in my opinion. I have also found it slow for the music to start playing on all of the above.
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers. #makesonosgreatagain
