I was about to ask RH if he had ever seen more than two such addresses in the several systems he's worked with. I was guessing that's what I've seen in the past. Thanks for clarifying this.

(LAN is wrong term)

Very good point. Two common ways of constructing a LAN are to use Wifi and Ethernet connections. So... you don't switch between LAN and either of those other terms, though I see the temptation to equate the idea "LAN" with wired connections, since that was the first way we learned to make LANs.
