About 3 years ago I got tired of sitting on buckets and boxes for days at a time doing configuration and programming so I got one of the 4ft folding tables that Ernie linked and also a small folding chair.

I use them all the time and found they work well for terminating Ethernet and doing all the other laptop based work.  I use them a lot more than I expected... it's nice to have a place for the laptop and folder where you can make calls and do paperwork.  I feel a lot more productive and comfortable using them.

The chair fits in what was unused space between my parts keeper bin and the side of the van and the table folds up and tucks between the van partition wall and a bag with some Lutron demo gear.

I put some heavy duty rubber feet on the chair to keep from scratching floors.
