We just finished our 1st eero install - six eeros as APs and comcastic gateway as router. Also six hardwired Sonos Connects.

Pretty impressive wifi performance, but not impressed by eeros overlord like monitoring of network. (Wouldn't be surprised if there were a massive eero data harvesting operation somewhere on the backend.) Fine for clients, but would never use that for our network.

Still don't understand why eero needs my phone number in order to set up a network, and that whole access code confirmation thing is a little off-putting... I mean who's network is it anyway?

Within 24 hours of set-up eero was spamming our inbox with $99 upgrade offers for eero+ network security. Obvious eeros marketing to know nothing end users.
I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone.
