Considering top quality cable that it will be in a pipe underground from building A to building B without power interference or anything like that. TIA guys.

1. Underground conduit is considered a wet location by the NEC. Therefore you need to use a Cat6 cable that is rated for wet locations.

2. Use fiber instead.

3. If you insist on using copper, then install an appropriate surge protector at both ends of the Cat6 right at the point it leaves/enters the structures.
