Time to get an OOMA and dump the phone line. Pay $4.00 or so per month for phone instead of $70.00 + taxes.
I've had OOMA for several years now, and it has been super reliable. As long as the internet service is up, I have a "land line" of sorts.
We wanted an actual phone line, the kind that stays on when the internet dies. "As long as the internet service is up" is not the kind we wanted.
