Me, too. We insisted on an actual phone line instead of a VoIP, but our two-year "deal" was the residence line for $48.10 and the internet for $61.49.
The new prices are $69.99 for the phone line and $99.99 for internet. The bill went from $138 to $201.
That's before the taxes and six bucks for who knows what.
Time to get an OOMA and dump the phone line. Pay $4.00 or so per month for phone instead of $70.00 + taxes.
I've had OOMA for several years now, and it has been super reliable. As long as the internet service is up, I have a "land line" of sorts.
