I'm Steve and a residential CI in the UK. for the last ten years.
I approach my work from an aesthetic POV first and specialize in insetting TV mounts etc. in the wall. This enables me to install TV's in a neat and professional manner with no visible metal work or cabling when viewed from the side.
Hate TV's hanging 50mm off the wall with all the BS behind showing.
I also specialize in ducting entire houses back to a central hub enabling me to pull cables through at any time now or in the future.
This is considerably harder to achieve in the UK because most buildings are brick built over here with very few dry walls. It's the quality of the physical fit of TV's and AV equipment in homes that is most important to me after which the electronics and technical side are easy these days. At present I fitting a lot of Samsung ES series TV's which are my favourite TV at the moment. I have photo examples of my unique method of installing these TV's for anybody who is interested.
