I did a job and it started last October and the gc wanted the projector lift and projector in October. Both got damaged by lightning. So both were purchased almost a year ago but not used till recently.

The furniture didn’t get delivered till mid June . So they have been using the system for 2 months at most.

1. Do you charge for labor on repairs on surge/lightning damage if the gear is under warranty?

2. When it happens when the system is new does it affect the way you charge to repair it?
