Was that a metal or plastic single gang box or LV ring you installed behind the beam, since its already sitting in the Intuitive box at that point?
It was just a plastic LV ring with 1-gang wall plate and brushed decora insert.
The BEAM is barely as tall as a horizontal 1-gang wall plate, so I trimmed a little off the bottom of the wall plate and placed the cut in ring as low as possible to the mantle.
All the wiring just passes through into the metal wall box behind.
