The problem I’ve found is these metal boxes (campers) seem to really kill reception on the inside. Last year with the outdoor ubiquiti antenna I had decent coverage including to the picnic shelter. But campers 1 and 4 had trouble getting reception (especially 4). when it was found that the ubiquiti had died, I was on my little personal retreat for the month of June, so my step-sister’s daughter replaced the router with a Linksys and put it inside the weatherproof box. She is majoring in IT, but has no real world experience.

Now I’m trying to decide if using the ubiquiti bullet and high gain antenna is the way to go or a mesh network like Eero. I’m leaning toward the mesh, but have no experience with mesh systems.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.
